Terms of Use

Swimio Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Swimio and its optional connected services.

Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Using Swimio

You must use Swimio lawfully and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your account, devices, training choices, and any content you submit or share.

Swimio is a fitness and training tool, not a medical device or medical advice. Stop exercising and seek qualified medical help if you have health concerns. Always follow pool rules and use reasonable judgment when training.

2. Accounts and subscriptions

Some features require an account. Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple under the terms shown in the App Store. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds subject to its policies.

We may change or discontinue features, but we will not charge you outside the purchase flow you approve. Strava API access is not sold or separately charged.

3. Connected services

Optional integrations such as Apple Health, Firebase, and Strava are also governed by the applicable provider terms. You control whether to connect them and can revoke access through Swimio or the provider.

When you connect Strava, Swimio only uploads completed swims recorded in Swimio to your own Strava account. Swimio does not import or analyze your Strava activities. Use of Strava is subject to Strava's terms and privacy policy.

4. Content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Swimio the limited rights needed to store, process, and transmit content solely to provide features you request.

Do not misuse Swimio, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, infringe others' rights, or upload unlawful, harmful, or malicious content.

5. Availability and liability

Swimio is provided on an as-available basis. Workout, sensor, AI-generated, and third-party results may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swimio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Suspension, changes, and contact

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, serious misuse, or protection of other users. You may stop using Swimio and request account deletion at any time.

We may update these terms as Swimio evolves. Material changes will be communicated where required. Italian law applies except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
